  My family (wife and two daughters) were immediately welcomed to St. Martin's and the support and inclusiveness has continued over the last several years. SMELC is a progressive church that ministers to a diverse congregation. The liturgy is traditional yet radical in that it invites congregants into questioning and exploring faith in their current situation. We are family-focused, welcoming, and supportive of faith formation and community engagement. We explored many so-called "welcoming" churches in Ft. Bend and found SMELC to be the ONLY place that lives into their mission.
