  I have met some really nice people at SLBC. The church building itself is nice. The times and length of the Sunday services are convenient.
  
  However, it is the Spirit-filled sermons Pastor Taylor preaches which initially led us to travel from the Pearland area to Sugar Land and keeps me watching remotely now.
  
  I know my God in three persons, and I hear their words/voices in Taylor’s words, in his stories. He’s accurate. He doesn’t present with a need for approval or acceptance from man but a commitment to the Word. Taylor’s boldness is refreshing and encouraging.
  
  I thank God for the Body of Christ at SLBC and especially the leader. Peace be with you. Nikki

  I've been going here since I was in the 3rd grade. SLBC (formerly WTBC) has a great family of people, is well rooted in God's word, and has a traditional feel without being the typical OVERLY conservative southern baptist church. My wife and I also were married here. We have a beautiful sanctuary and building.
  Come visit us sometime!

  I don't attend services there, so I can't speak to that, but the buildings are very clean and the restrooms well stocked during the week when numerous groups use the classrooms. The flyers I have seen regarding the various various activities for members look good.
